La Roque is a sensitively restored old winemaker's house overlooking the River Orb, in the sun drenched Languedoc, South of France.
The house is divided into two separate gites, La Roque Piscine (sleeps 7) on the first floor and with a pool and La Roque Riviere on the ground floor (sleeping 6) with a pretty terrace in the garden. The gites are independent of one another each with their own entrance. They both share the river bank and there are two separate beaches, one at the bottom of the steps to the left and the other under the bridge. The Piscine gite needs to be mindful of closing two small gates on their way to and from the river.
La Roque occupies 1.5 acres of prime river frontage in the beautiful medieval village of Vieussan on the banks of the unspoilt gorges of the Orb valley, surrounded by mountains and breathtaking scenery. Swim or canoe from your own private river bank, laze in a hammock or picnic at the river’s edge, La Roque is the perfect retreat to unwind and relax.
